We get behind our team, we support them because we are WHU not the people who temporarily own us.

Yep, march against the board first, then go and support the team if you're going to the game after.

One suggestion is to not sing 'SACK THE BOARD'

They own the club...

I like 'WHERE'S THE MONEY GONE'

Whatever you do do it outside of the ground or very least when the game is over support the team as much as you can or is physically possible.

one iron’s suggestion of black balloons at Chelsea sounds like a good idea. It can’t be written off by idiots in the media as “West Ham hooliganism.”

Re: So people, what do we do next?
Surely the simplest & most visible way as to just boycott a match. The Man City game is coming up on TV with no one in there it would embarrass the owners & affect them in the pocket, no match day revenue. We will also not being harming the team as let's face it we aren't getting anything from that game anyway...
There's no money & very little organisation required, no one can stop it, no individuals can be threatened or bribed to prevent it.

Re: So people, what do we do next?
If at all possible it would be a great idea for some banners to be made up somehow showing the fans are there for the team, but not the board. If it's possible to get the players onside along with the media there is a better chance of getting them out. More violent scenes and pitch protests will just alienate the team from the fans.

Re: So people, what do we do next?
Black balloons are fine but there is something much more effectively visually for TV cameras and the directors box.

Think yesterday with the plastic bags for Bobby Moore.

I put this idea on another thread. No printing, no cost, very easy to organise, very visual. Can be done home and away!

Now replace with a black bag. A black rubbish bag would do. In fact ideal as everyone has them, they are big so will fill gaps. Also the connotation of rubbish. And you can definitely get them in the stadium.

The east side (and others) completely black at kick off for every home game would be something harder for the media to ignore than walking around East London.

"What do we do next"....I think it's a bit late for that.

What happened on Saturday, especially the pitch invasions, was a game changer. When our club captain has to wrestle with his own supporters on the pitch during the match things have reached a different level.

Noble has West Ham roots and will fight to the end but the rest of the players? They are mercenaries. I don't doubt they have already spoken to their agents to make enquiries. Why should any of them stay in that toxic atmosphere.

And will any of them be bothered, really, in the remaining matches? What's the point of battling? For whom exactly?

Morale, team spirit, a sense of comradeship ...that's what gets you through a relegation battle. The teams that go down are the ones who lose their will to fight.

The club is in meltdown after those pitch invasions and anyone who thinks we are now making progress against Sullivan and Gold needs to take a long hard look at themselves. Yes, the owners will be decimated by the club's relegation - but so will we.

Leeds United, Nottingham Forest...there are some salutary tales out there.

Thing is Infidel the club was in meltdown from the moment we’ve moved, never prepared for it and badly invested into the team to make the transition even though the owners had YEARS to up their game.

Re: So people, what do we do next?
Don't agree Side.

With respect I think the appointment of a top class manager would have given us a chance of getting the most out of this squad (and buying more intelligently in the windows).

If we had performed well on the pitch people would have felt very differently about the move to the LS. Instead the move has coincided with two years of really poor performances, managerial mistakes, poor signings and a bad atmosphere in the stadium.

It's all compounded into a toxic cocktail that spilled over on Saturday.

As I said on another thread, the four managers S&G appointed to "take us to the next level" were Grant, Allardyce, Bilic and Moyes. Right there you have in a nutshell how stupid, incompetent and unfit our owners are to manage this club.

"When our club captain has to wrestle with his own supporters on the pitch during the match"

But he didn't "have to" do anything did he?

The fan never even went near him. Noble chased him and got hold of him.

Noble's reaction, in my opinion was disgusting, under the circumstances. He can fucking talk all he likes about wanting to "get on with the game" and "doing the stewards job". But in reality, he knows the score, he knows why the fan was on there, yet chose to take out his frustration of going a goal down on the fan.

Fucking out of order. He's well gone down in my book. And it's just a shame he hasn't shown the same sort of passion and aggression when playing that he did with that fan. If he did we may be higher up in the league.

Noble can go and fuck himself for all I care.
